About us

We are a group of teachers from five European countries: Estonia, Spain, Greece, Italy and Turkey.

We have come together thanks to the great opportunity that the European Union has given us to create an intercultural, educational project. This project allows us to share and exchange the experiences we carry out in our respective schools.

Using puppets as protagonists, this project aims to promote the basic values of coexistence between countries such as respect, tolerance, group learning and bonding through our cultural heritage. The project will help us to become more creative, develop our social skills and emotional awareness and improve artistic expression and speaking skills.

DES (Interactive European School)

It is a private bilingual nursery, kindergarten and primary school.  which host approximately 300 pupils and 55 teachers.

Dr. Billie Konstantara, founder and CEO of the school, proposes a differentiated educational approach based on the theory of “Multiple Intelligences”, developed by Howard Gardner.  DES educational approach is unique.  Part of the basic programme, starting from the first grade, is creative learning through literature, arts, story-telling, music, coding, STEM and more. The unique surroundings allow teachers to use interactive teaching methods i.e. pet therapy with the farm animals, plant a tree day, planting vegetables in the green house, art in nature.  This encourages curiosity of our pupils and keeps them motivated.
